According to wikipedia, a touchscreen is an electronic visual display that can detect the presence and location of a touch within the display area. The term generally refers to touching the display of the device with a finger or hand. Touchscreens can also sense other passive objects, such as a stylus.
Secondly, it lets one do so without requiring any intermediate device that would need to be held in the hand. Such displays can be attached to computers, or to networks as terminals. They also play a prominent role in the design of digital appliances such as the personal digital assistant(PDA), satellite navigation devices, mobile phones, and video games.
LG Cookie Wifi also known as LGkm555 has a slim build, measuring only 11.9mm, with metallic finish. This full touchscreen, Wifi device has virtual QWERTY keyboard, a 3-inch WQVGA screen for optimal video viewing and a 3.0 megapixel camera, and a DolbyTM sound. though it boasts of great features, it does have some frailties. one is its touchsreen feature is not that responsive. second is its camera does not capture crisp photos in less luminous places. third is its video player can only play 3gp files. fourth is its theme is not customizable. fifth is the cover is also not cusomizable. sixth is it can only store 500 messages. seventh is it is not multitasking.
to cap this all, i want to change my phone before the year ends. i want to have Nokia's X3. :)
